Thadd Derange
Thadd Derange is the charging bull of The Daily Derangement — a born believer, headline chaser, and fearless pursuer of the unbelievable. If there is a whispered rumor, a glowing object in the sky, or a suspiciously emotional raccoon near city hall, Thadd is already halfway out the door with a notebook in one hand and total conviction in the other. He wants the story to be true, because if it is, life becomes bigger, stranger, and a lot more fun. Bold, impulsive, and permanently ready for adventure, Thadd is the engine that keeps the madness moving.
Shane Derange
Shane Derange is the caution to Thadd’s chaos — equally drawn to the story, but far more likely to pause, squint, and ask whether the “eyewitness” might just be a guy named Ron in a costume. A natural skeptic with a dry streak, Shane brings timing, restraint, and just enough doubt to keep the operation from disappearing entirely into the fog of hysteria. He may question the facts, the witnesses, and occasionally Thadd himself, but he never backs away from the chase. Where Thadd runs headfirst into the unbelievable, Shane follows close behind, rolling his eyes and saving the story.
